Special Thank You Page ....
I have to extend a very special Thank You to Brother Faruk from Istanbul, who looked after me when I was sick in Turkey. I would also like to thank Brother Bulent for being with us during my recent trip to Gaza and the Turkish Government for making it all happen.
I would like to give a very special Thank You to the Maidenhead Advertiser for being a true community newspaper, they were very supportive and encouraged me to succeed at the begining of my journey to Gaza. The warmth of the local Maidenhead community kept me going all the way to Gaza.
I would also like to give a very special Thank You to the Ahl-Hadeeth Jamaat from Maidenhead for their contribution, and for being very supportive towards helping the patients at El-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital, for the Disabled, Amputee and Elderly in Gaza. The well wishes of the congregation will no doubt be warmly received and the people of Gaza will be truly touched that their plight has not been forgotten.
I would like to give a big Thank You to Maidenhead Jamia Mosque for being supportive and helping the patients at
El-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital and also Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, through their
generosity. 100% of all donations went directly into the hands of patients at the El-Wafa and Al-Shifa Hospitals. The well wishes of the congregation were warmly received and the people of
Gaza were truly touched that their plight has not been forgotten.
I would like to Thank all Maidonians for their warmth and genorosity. I am proud that my home town of Maidenhead has been supportive; the well wishes were very motivational during the tough times encountered through out the journey to Gaza (Palestine). I felt honoured to represent the local community across several countries and convoy the well wishes onto the people of Gaza, who appreciated the fact that a small town in England will not forget their plight. I would also like to Thank Mrs Emma from Blenheim Road for genourously donating baby clothes, which were given out at Al-Shifa Hospital Maternity Ward.
I would also like to thank a few individuals who helped me, these include Mr Atthar Butt who held an event to raise awareness and were very supportive, both here in the UK and out in Egypt. Also Mrs Emma from Maidenhead, who kindly donated a large amount of baby clothes which were warmly received by babies at the Al-Shifa Hospital Maternity Ward in Gaza (Palestine). Mr Christian Pakers from Pinkneys Green for his contribution. More names to follow shortly....
